For the first three years of my career I had very bad luck in getting any written articles in the knife making press. I had the thought of writing to the Royal Marine Commando Magazin Globe & Laurel. They were very kind in allowing me to present an article on my design of a modern military field knife. This was very unusual as the Globe & Laurel rarely has an outside writer writing an article for it. I was very honoured to achieve this and since then I have worked steadily to improve the Commander from the MkI you see here, to the Mk7 you can see here:
